“Why Bristol?”: the editor says he’ll have it back to us this week, which will still give us enough time to work with it and get copies before Rhythm & Roots on the 14th of September.

“Why Knox?”: Right now it’s sitting at 17,000 words; half way through part 2 of 4 parts.  Having it ready for Christmas is a pipe dream.

Food City Bristol Family Race Night:  Hopefully it won’t rain this Thursday when thousands of race fans and locals alike will visit downtown Bristol in hopes of meeting a driver.  It would have been nice if “Why Bristol?” was ready, but I ordered 2000 give-away postcards with a picture of the cover and a discount code announcing its’ release on September 12th.  This weekend I made a 4 foot Abe Lincoln as a display for the postcards and this morning I ordered posters of the cover to line the front of my tent with, so….hopefully it won’t rain.
